73 - 2 - Kathleen Clifford and Company in "Betty in Dreamland." On at 3:36, 28 minutes full stage. This act was supposed to get here yesterday for rehearsals, but was tied up by the storm and while the company and the trunks arrived, the scenery did not, so everybody was at a disadvantage. Notwithstanding this, they got by in fair shape this afternoon and we hope for better things tonight, although the act does not look quite as promising as the "Top o' th' World." Frank Fogarty. On at 4:04, 18 minutes in 1. Fogarty had the audience going from the start and went as well here as he has anywhere. Alcide Capitaine. On at 4:22, 8 minutes in full stage. This well known gymnast made a splendid feature of the bill. We expect more of the act tonight by putting it up on the bill. Kinetograph. On at 4:30, "An Amusing Game of Chess." A very good comedy film. Cuts. Betty in Dreamland - Joke about "What's in a name." Frank Fogarty - cut the story "Gates ajar." Also word "God" at the end of the recitation. Comment. This proved to be a good holiday show and should run better to-night in the following order: Liane de Lyle; Du Ball Bros; Emil Hoch; Johnston & Harty; Binns Binns and Binns; Capitaine; Little Billy; Kathleen Clifford; Frank Fogarty; Torelli's Circus.
