74 CHASE'S WASHINGTON -:Week Dec. 27th, 1909:- THE FIVE FRIENDS Miss Francisco gave a satisfactory performance with her pony, donkey and dogs and it was just the sort of act to open the bill with this holiday week. Full stage. HORACE WRIGHT & RENE DIETRICH. These people delivered some songs, not all of them new, but so effectively as to create a distinctly good impression. Their rendition of "By the Light of the Silvery Moon" was so clever as to secure several recalls. In one. QUINN and MITCHELL "The Lemon City Land Agent". Same act as last season and filled this position creditably. In one. JOHN P. WADE and Co. "Marse Shelby's Chicken Dinner". A classic, a gem, and the audience to a unit voted them a success. Full stage. -:INTERMISSION:- LANE and O'DONNELL "Lunatic Tumblers Looping the Bumps". So far as our opinion goes they did just as well here as Rice and Prevost. Full stage. SIX AMERICAN DANCERS A splendid dancing act hard to beat. In one. LOUIS SIMON, GRACE GARDNER Co. "The New Coachman". Same old act but it went all right and we are entirely satisfied in having it on the bill this week. Full stage THE AMERICAN VITAGRAPH "All's Well That Ends Well. A good comic subject. H. Winnifred De Witt, Manager.
