On a different line from other dog acts. Act played here last season and is identically the same as then given. Full stage. Time 16 minutes. Lovey & Nice. Went well. Man and woman in singing, talking and dancing. Costume changes. Both good workers and full of life and ginger. Man's last costume an eccentric one, copied from that of the "Fairy Queen" in "The Gingerbread Man". Well dressed and well done throughout. In one. time 13 min The Juggling Barretts. Went well. Hat jugglers and both men are clever. Tall and straw hats used in all sorts of feats, notably good being the spinning of the straws out over the heads of the audience only to have them return to the stage. Full stage. Time 9 minutes. Matt Henson. Went well. Mr. Henson is the man who accompanied Peary to the North Pole and offers an illustrated talk in incidents of polar exploration that is good entertainment. First appearance and should improve as the week goes on. Ought to prove a drawing card. In one. Time 11 minutes. Geo A Haley- Bijou Theatre, Woonsocket, R. I. Thursday, Jan. 6, 1910. Matinee. Weather, rain. Business, very light. New acts (last half of week) BERNIER & STELLA. Went fair. Singing act for man and woman. Well dressed. Bit of a dance for finish. Man and woman together sing very well. Woman's solo of a humorous order is good and goes well. Man's song rather weak due to a throaty voice. In One. Time 11 minutes. KANE & KANTOR. Went fair. Comedy playlet by man and woman. Very well done by both. Dialogue is rather bright and points are well put over. Well dressed. A comedy act of the more quiet order. Full stage. Time 14 minutes. Geo. A. Haley.
