GRAND OPERA HOUSE, PITTSBURG, PA. DECEMBER 27th, 1909 MARCEL & BORIS-9 minutes, full stage. Music and Acrobatics. A remarkable act. SULLIVAN & PASQUELINA- 18 minutes, special drop in 3, opening and closing in one. One of the standard acts that always makes good. It is, however, lacking in class and would, in my opinion, not do so well late in the bill. IDA FULLER- 9 minutes, full stage. Special scenery. Doing the same as usual. Going very big. DOHERTY & HARLOW. 15 minutes in one. Singing, dancing and some comedy. A very clever woman with some excess baggage in the way of a partner. The act scores heavily. ALBERT WHELAN- 19 minutes, full stage. "Vocalist and whistler". A big hit. If we get him again we will headline him. ITALIAN TRIO- 14 minutes in one. "Soloists". Falls short of the original. Going only fairly well. GEO. BEBAN & CO. 24 minutes, full stage, special set. "The Sign of the Rose". Mr. Beban's act has been received with enthusiasm. I think he works under difficulties. The support of his players must jar upon his artistic temperament. It is awful. OTTO BROS.- 14 minutes in one. They are going very well although personally I never could see them. HERZOGS HORSES- 16 minutes, full stage. The horses were snowbound for sixty hours and in consequence their performances have not been good. The act, however, improved toward the end of the week. DENNIS HARRIS.
