REPORT ON PROVIDENCE SHOW, WEEK OF JANUARY 31, 1910. Chas. Lovenberg, Manager. The show plays very well and gave evident satisfaction to the audience today. 6 SAMOIS Good lively Arab acrobatic act but terribly short. Not good enough in quality to warrant such a short act at the price. 6 Min. ANDERSON & GOINES Well-known team of colored men who went as well as usual. 18 Min. in One. WORMWOOD'S ANIMALS One of the best ats of the kind that we play, which is enhanced by Mr. Wormwood's extreme neatness of attire. 20 Min. F. S. ITALIAN TRIO Three men, vocalists. Went first rate. The audience liked them better than I did. 13 Min. in One. GRIGOLATI'S BALLET A very beautiful act which was received with marked expressions of approval and I think will draw some money. 14 Min. F. S. AWAKE AT THE SWITCH A very bright sketch, well played by Margaret Moffatt & Company and thoroughly appreciated by the audience. Still I think it is getting too much money. 27 Min. Special Set in 3. PRINGLE & WHITING I was most agreeably surprised with this act, especially with Whiting's work, who has developed into quite an eccentric comedian and was received with distinct favor. 22 Min. in One. MALLIA & BART In a new idea in acrobatic comedy, "The Baggage Smashers", which would be much better if they carried a special drop representing a railroad station. This act, too, is decidedly short. Has some funny situations, though, and is well liked. 7 Min. F.S. Motion Pictures O.K. Name of Act- Work In Set Time Remarks Pictures 1st Reel Picture Sheet Picture Sheet 15 Harrington & Merrill Picture Sheet Picture Sheet 5 Gartolle Bros.
