REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW FOR WEEK FEBRUARY 21, 1910. W. W. PROSSER, MGR. HAP HANDY & CO., American Soap Bubble Manipulators. This is quite an entertaining little act and it seemed to catch the fancy of the audience. There is a vein of humor in the offering and it won a number of laughs. The blowing and manipulation of the soap bubbles proved to be very entertaining, and while the act did not finish especially strong it was thoroughly satisfactory in every way. 17 minutes, C. D. F. in 3. SAONA: Impersonations of great men, past and present. Everything he introduced won a good hand and each of his impersonations proved to be very pleasing to the audience. He won many good rounds of applause and finished strong 12 minutes, C. D. F. in 3. NAT HENSEN: The Polar Hero. Hensen's delivery is rather bad, notwithstanding which he managed to gain the attention of the audience from the moment he appeared on the stage and to hold it without the slightest trouble throughout the act. His talk seemed to acquire the undivided attention of the entire house, and it evidently was an offering of decided interest. Proved to be eminently satisfactory. 18 minutes in 1. MR. & MRS. JIMMY BARRY, In "At Hensfoot Corners". This clever pair scored an unmistakable hit all the way through and left nothing to be desired. A most likable and successful act in every respect. 21 minutes, special set in 4. CLAYTON WHITE & MARIE STUART, In "Cherie". These well known farceurs repeated the genuine hit they have always made in this house and created a decidedly favorable impression. The act was in fact an unmistakable hit and tickled the fancy of the entire house. Finished strong. 31 minutes, light fancy in 3. HOWARD & NORTH. In "Back in Wellington": This team is especially deserving of credit for the reason that when they appeared here two seasons they were about as genuine a frost as one could imagine. This time they came on and were really the hit of the bill, barring nothing. The audience was delighted and they finished very strong. Personally, I am delighted with their success for they were badly discouraged on their last trip here. Special set in 1 1/2, 23 minutes. FOUR CASTING DUNBARS: These well known aerialists got along fine and made an excellent closing number for what is all in all a very excellent show. Finished strong. Garden in 5, 10 minutes. MOVING PICTURES: O. K.
