BOSTON WHOW WEEK FEBRUARY 28, '10. R.G. Larsen Monday afternoon show. REDFORD AND WINCHESTER. 17 minutes f.s. One of the best comedy juggling acts we have. It is almost too good for an opener. HIBBERT AND WARREN. 11 minutes in 1. This team went only fair this afternoon, and even the dancing did not seem to get by as it formerly did. ROBERT KEGERREIS AND COMPANY. 21 minutes f.s. in Edgar Allen Poe's "Tell Tale Heart." This is a good sketch of the kind, well acted, and notwithstanding the early spot on the bill made quite an impression here. There is no doubt that the admirers of Poe were out in force to-day. It is too bad that we must play it so early as we might get better value out of it, but under the circumstances it is impossible to shift. SYDNEY DEANE AND COMPANY. "Christmas on Blackwell's Island." 21 minutes in 2. This act went as well as ever, although there was very little change since last presented here. BARROWS LANCASTER COMPANY. 23 minutes f.s. "Tactics" has not been seen here for a long time was almost like a new sketch. It went very good although the man who is playing the Southern colonel does not get as much out of his part as there is in it. ALBERT HOLE. 16 minutes in 1. This boy soprano in his second week proved even a bigger feature than before. He is giving an almost entirely new program with several wellknown selections that got the audience in great shape this afternoon. The boy is certainly one of the best features we have had in one in a long time and the reception he gets when he comes on the stage shows that he is being talked about and is drawing business. PARIS BY NIGHT. 19 minutes f.s. 2 special sets. This company gave a rather unsatisfactory performance this afternoon, although it got by with the audience in very good shape, and with a rehearsal after the show we hope for better things to-night. LYONS AND YOSCO. 17 minutes in 1. These boys had rather hard work in this place but finally got the audience in pretty good shape. ROBERT DEMONT TRIO. 8 minutes f.s. An exceptionally clever acrobatic act but might be better value if placed earlier on bill. PICTURE. "All on account of the milk." Good picture story. COMMENT. This show rounded out in very good shape this afternoon and seemed to more than satisfy the critical Monday audience.
