185 BOSTON SHOW WEEK MARCH 21 '10 [1910] (Monday afternoon) R. G. LARSEN. HEARN AND RUTTER. 11 minutes in 1. A mighty good dancing act and went first rate this afternoon. ORTH AND FERN. f.s. close in 1. 14 minutes. This well known act had a rather hard spot in #2 but got away with it in good shape and had a big finish. MRS. EVA FAY. (1st part) 18 minutes f.s. Interesting as usual. PIANOPHIENDS. 20 minutes f.s. Went as big here as ever. MRS. EVA FAY. (2nd part) 24 minutes f.s. Seemed to please the audience with good comedy but she is not drawing as well as we expected though we had a very good afternoon house. ANCILLOTTI AND "PILU." 10 minutes in 1. An exceptionally good novelty act and Ancilotti's comedy kept the audience in good humor. "HIGH LIFE IN JAIL." 21 minutes f.s. This was altogether too far down on the bill for this act but it got laughs all through and had a very good finish. Putting it up to-night to get more out of it. STANLEY AND MORRIS. 17 minutes in 1. This was a hard spot for the act as quiet as the start of this one is, but it worked up in very good shape, notwithstanding Miss Morris was not as bright as usual. 3 ERNESTS. 6 minutes in f.s. One of the liveliest closing acts we have ever had in this house, and the comedy of the 3 kept the audience in a roar from start to finish. PICTURES. "A lonely bachelor," and "Acorss [Across] the island of Ceylon." Both very interesting. RUNNING ORDER FOR BALANCE OF WEEK - Hearn and Rutter; Mrs Fay; High Life in Jail; Orth and Fern; Mrs Fay; Stanley and Morris; Pianophiends; Ancillotti and Pilu; 3 Ernests. CUT:- High Life in Jail - word "hell."
