Boston Keith's December 19, 1921 Aesops Fable: Best of the season Topics of the Day: Fairly Good Beeman & Grace: 10 min in full stage Combination roller skating and music. The man is an exceptional skater and put the act over to a good hand. Mason & Knaw: 13 min in 1-1/2 spec. Prettily staged and one of the girls does a good boy impersonation. Quiet for this spot and went only fair. Mechans Canines: 10 min in full stage Plenty of "Pop" and went over well. Donovan & Lee: 24 min in 1 spec. Got some good laughs and closed to a nice hand. Joe Rubin: 8 min in 1 Local boy who won the Eddie Leonard Contest" conducted by the Boston Telegram during Eddie Leonard's engagement here. Big reception and got over finely with three Eddie Leonard songs. Frank McIntyre & Co. 20 min in 2 Novel comedy skit with some funny situations. Got laughs and closed to a good hand. Ruby Norton: 18 min in 1-1/2 spec. Good program of songs and some pretty gowns. Went well for this spot. Houdini: 28 min in 2 and 4 Same Houdini personality and showmanship. Act is a little long, but will probably tighten up a bit. Interesting and closed to a good hand. Bert Fitzgibbon & Law: 19 min in 1 Big Hit in rhis spot. Davis and Pelle: 5 min in 2 Great routine and closed to a good hand. Christmas Pantomime every afternoon with a gift from Santa Clause to each child. This is an annual affair here and proved just as big a treat for the kiddies and grown ups as ever. Pathe: Good CUTS: Donovan & Lee: Please eliminate line "Black or white in reference to women Mason & Shaw: Please eliminate reference to Mrs LaDue.
