PROVIDENCE E. F. ALBEE DECEMBER 26, 1921 We have a very good playing show this week and a very nice lot of agreeable people who gave the extra show and did extra stunts besides without complaining but rather with great graciousness. CHARLES LOVENBERG VERNON - ventriloquist. Mr. Vernon does a very good act of vintriloquism which was very well received by the audiences of yesterday. 17 minutes in one. BURNS & LYNN - These people have got completely away from their old act of neat dancing and have now a number of comedy dances with a little talking interspersed. A good act. 11 minutes in one. MADAME BESSON & CO. - In "The Woman Who Knew". This lady should be credited in always having a good company and the present sketch is interesting. Well received. 20 minutes full stage. THE HEGEDUS SISTERS - Two girls each playing the violin and alternately accompanied on the piano by the other, finally playing two violins together with our orchestra accompanying. Unquestionably the best violin act ever in vaudeville. 15 minutes open in two - six minutes in one. LANGFORD & FREDERICK - A very bright act of repartee, singing and dancing. Excellently played and well produced. 16 minutes full stage. LYNN & SMYTHE - Two men in a talking act with a ballad. Very well rendered. Well liked. 18 minutes in one. YOUNG AMERICA - A very unusual sketch well done, full of human interest and laughs. Highly appreciated. 20 minutes full stage. HERMAN TIMBERG - In his usual act which made a big hit and which was followed by the travesty by him and several members of the company. His act alone 12 minutes. Travesty 10 minutes, all in one. THE CHANDON TRIO - Man with two women in a very attractive act opened by the younger of the woman in a toe dance and then some very skillful aerial work by the three. 9 minutes full stage.
