PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S FEB. 6th, 2 FABLES & TOPICS - Good average. MUSICAL HUNTERS - (8 mins.) Act has been played too often to need further report. RUSSELL & DEVITT - (9 mins.) Clever acrobatic comedy turn by two men. Work clean cut and no stalling. Did very well. JANET OF FRANCE - (18 mins.) With Charles Hamp - Comedy singing and talking act. Man and woman. Girl carries most of the comedy through flirtation talk and song. Man at piano. Rather talky, but got laughs and pleased. SPENCER & WILLIAMS - (17 mins.) Man and woman comedy singing and talking. Former handles his comedy for good laughs and has a lot of catchy lines. Girl makes nice appearance and the act was very well liked. GRACE HUFF & CO. in "The Trimmer" - (22 mins.) Nicely played comedy in one act. Framed up along one of the old Hoyt farces and excellent work of three members of cast helps it considerably. Got liberal applause and made a very good impression. JACK NORWORTH - (24 mins.) He played Vernon Stiles and did splendidly. He has all new songs with Miss Emma Adelphi, at the piano and they team up very satisfactorily. Norworth a favorite here and did as well as he has done on recent visits. LIGHTNER GIRLS & ALEXANDER - ( 26 mins.) Although this act played here a couple of months ago it was a great repeater and went equally as well as on its first showing. Brightened up through faster playing and some new costumes gave it a new and attractive appearance. Held the spot fine, taking several well earned bows. ED LEE WROTHE & OWEN MARTIN - in "Now" (25 mins.) One of the best slang comedy turns we have had and it scored solidly in this spot following a lot of comedy. LOLA & SENIA - (11 mins.) A very pretty and classy dancing turn which did very well in the closing position of a long bill. Dancing, setting and dressing all excellent. PATHE NEWS - Following the election of the new Pope, Pathe had photos with special title on newly elected Pope which we showed Monday matinee. Created a lot of interest. GENERAL REMARKS -The substitution of Jack Norwroth for Vernon Stiles improved the bill. His new monologue act, made up mostly of new songs, fitted in nicely and the whole show ran smoothly, although a little long. CUTS- JANET OF FRANCE - The expression "It that an invitation to go or start something." ED LEE WROTEH & MARTIN - Expression "What the Hell does he ride."
