PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S JULY 3rd 2 FABLES & TOPICS - (13 mins.) Both very good. BOOTH & NINA - (11 mins.) Formerly Booth and Leander. Conventional routine of bicycle riding. Two banjo solos introduced by the lady and the comedy talk interspersed were well received. CRAFTS & HALEY - (15 mins.) Two boys cross-fired talking. Finish with a burlesque waltz. Went very well in this spot. WROTE'S BUDS - (19 mins.) Annual presentation of Wrote's Buds (seven local children ranging in age from three to ten years) in songs and dances. Each number was well received and the ensemble finish was a hit. DAVE ROTH - (19 mins.) A Philadelphia boy who has quite a following in this town and his piano, one-string violin, singing and dancing was accorded a generous hand. GEORGE Le MAIRE - (17 mins.) Assisted by Joe Phillips in their well-known travesty "At The Dentist". This act was a laughing hit this afternoon and took four curtains at the finish. VIVIENNE SEGAL - (16 mins.) Opens with an introductory lyric, followed by a varied repertoire, including a ballad, a "kid" number; a popular number and an operatic selections for closing. Each number was given a very good hand and she was obliged to do an enchore which was also well received. A big hit. HARRY BREEN - (18 mins.) Offering his familiar routine of songs and nonsense and went over well indeed. VAN & BELLE - (13 mins.) Boomerang throwers, finishing with bird impersonations by the male member of the team. This is a novel, interesting and entertaining act, and held the audience intact. PATHE NEWS - (9 mins.) Good selection of pictures. GENERAL REMARKS A good summer show, that played well to a capacity matinee. CUTS HARRY BREEN - Use of word "dirty stories".
