PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S July 24th 2 AESOP'S FABLES & TOPICS OF THE DAY - 10 mins. Fables funny. "Topics" fair. THE GREAT JOHNSON - 7 mins. Special drop in Four. A routine of very good contortion feats on the floor, pedestal and trapeze. Very satisfactory opening act. ALYCE & LUCILLE SHELDON - 11 mins. Olio in 1 (Piano) A repertoire of solos and duets, one girl piano accompanist. Their songs are pleasingly rendered and they did nicely in this spot. BURKE, WALSH & NANA - 17 mins. Open Street in 1- Centre Door Fancy in three- Close in 1. A comedy talking act with dancing interspersed. Although the talk is of small time calibre it provokes some laughs. However, their dancing is very good and they finished very well. STELLA MAYHEW - 14 Mins. Olio in 1. Reception on her entrance. Special songs by Gerard Smith and Billee Taylor. Her monologue kept the audience in good humor and she scored a hit. TRACEY & MC BRIDE - 25 mins. Special drop in 1 1/2- Cyc. in 3 - Close in 1. A good lively, comedy talking, singing and dancing offering and they did very well. KARYL NORMAN "The Creole Fashion Plate" - 22 mins. Special Cyc. in 3- Close in 1 with special drop. A big hit and generous reception on his entrance. EVA SHIRLEY, With Oscar Adler's Orchestra and Al Roth, Dancer. 23 mins. Special Cyc. in 3. Another big hit. MC CARTON & MORRONE - 12 mins. Special set in 4. A boy and girl, local couple with quite a following. A reception on their entrance. Their offering consists of singing, ballroom, Apache and Whirlwind dancing and they did splendidly in this position. PATHE NEWS - 9 mins. Very good pictures. GENERAL REMARKS - Although to-day was one of the warmest days of the season business was very good and judging by the enthusiasm of the audience this show should keep our business up to the standard of the past three weeks. CUTS Alyce & Lucilled Sheldon - Eliminate lines in "blue" song about "gratifying his every wish" and also line "If he likes children too". BURKE, WALSH & NANA - Eliminate gag about "cuspidor and spittoon" also remarks "Beer Keg Annie"; "How long has that joint been running"; and "fairy story". TRACEY & MC BRIDE - "My God" and substitute word for "dirty tricks".
