PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S July 17th, 2 AESOP'S FABLES & TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Amusing. "DOOLEY" IOLEEN - (6 mins.) One in One - Close Full Stage. Open with a popular number, then goes through her routine, making a satisfactory opener. JAY & MILT BRITTIN - 12 mins. in One - These boys failed to arouse any enthusiasm until their closing medley on the claronet and trombone, which sent them off to a good hand. FLORENCE BRADY - 16 mins. in One. This little girl sang five songs and then the audience wanted more. ONA MUNSON & CO. in "A Manly Revue" - 20 mins. Special set in 4. The same act she has presented here on a former visit. The act was well received. The tenor and bariton solos and the solo dance by Sheehan going especially well. (Phillips is not dancing owing to a injury to his ankle) BERNARD & GARRY - 13 mins. in One. A good selection of songs, finishing with their imitations of well known singing comedians. A hit. LOU TELLEGEN - 22 mins. in Special set in 4. He is assisted by two men and one woman in presenting his condensed version of "Blind Youth". This sketch held the attention of the audience throughout and was given a big hand at the finish. Mr. Tellegen was given a reception on his entrance. JACK ROSE - 23 mins. in one. This fellow was a laughing hit. Kept the audience entertained every minute he occupied the stage and was obliged to make a little speech. GEORGE BROWN in "Pedestrianism" - 17 mins. Opens in one, special drop and then goes to full stage cyclorama. Assisted by two men, two women and Jack Rose, who steps into this act on Brown's opening speech and he makes it an excellent comedy offering. The plants are very good and the act as a whole is perhaps the best Brown has given us. It held the audience intact and kept them laughing. PATHE NEWS - Instructive and Interesting. GENERAL REMARKS - An excellent summer show. If To-day's business may be taken as a criterion we will have a very good week's business. CUTS JACK ROSE - Kindly omit "My God"; Stathmore Hotel and Pantages.
