Boston B.F.Keith's August 28 2 Aesop's Fables: Good: Topics of The Day: Average: Jean & White: 14 min, F.S. Spec. Routine of dancers with a surprise finish, as one the boys is made up as a girl. Opened the show well. Will & Gladys Ahern: 10 min, in "One" Spec. Roping and comedy talk, with a little dancing. Went nicely in this spot. J. Rosemond Johnson & Co: 23 min, F.S. A hit here, as usual. Powers & Wallace: 19 min, in "One" This couple always go very big for us. Eric Zardo: 13 min, in "One" Good pianist and closed to a nice hand. Hermine Shone & Co.,: 30 min F.S. Spec. A new act, getting into shape, but even in it's present crude form a decided novelty that will create talk. Has a lot of comedy, is very pretentious, and is so much out of the ordinary that even if it were bad we would rather play it than not. Gordon & Ford: 10 min, in "One" Big Laughing hit. Howard & Clark: 21 min F.S. Went over big even in this rather difficult spot. Class Manning & Class: 9 min F.S. Very good wire act closed the show nicely. Pathe News: Good. Cuts: Will & Gladys Ahern: Please eliminate the line "It will leak out through" and "Held for further examination" Gordon & Ford: Please eliminate from your act any reference to local hotels Topics of the Day: Reference to "Prohibition"
