ORCHESTRA 2.10 TOPICS AND FABLES 2.16 BEGEE & QUPKE, Special in three, 8 minutes. A fair skating act. The man does a one leg spin on the skates particularly well. MARGARET HESSLER. 8 minutes in one. A fair little violin player. LEE & CRANSTON. In the "Honeymoon House" special in two and one half. 21 minutes. Went over fairly well in their singing and talking sketch. MRS. GENE HUGHES. In interior in three. 27 minutes. In "Youth". Mrs. Gene Hughes played better and her sketch went better than ever before here. SYBIL VANE, 17 minutes in one. This little lady was an unqualified hit this afternoon. She was in excellent voice. Improved, if anything, since her last visit, the pleasant impression she has always made hers. BEN BERNIE & HIS ORCHESTRA, special in three, 33 minutes. Another unqualified hit. OLSEN & JOHNSON. 21 minutes in one. The biggest hit they have ever made here. Finished in an uproarious skit, in which several members on the bill assisted them and they were nothing short of a riot. RAFAYETTE'S DOGS. Full stage and one. 10 minutes. Very good dog act. REMARKS. This is a splendid show after it gets started and we are running a special musical act consisting of four local musicians every night in addition to the above bill, putting them on number two, following Begee and Qupee and cutting out Margaret Hessler at night only. People are evincing great interest in this local musical competition. CUTS. Mrs. Gene Hughes, please substitute "Goodness knows why" for "God knows why".
