B. F. KEITH'S PROVIDENCE.R.I. FEB. 18th, 9 The bill this week is not quite so good as we have been running, in fact the Monday afternoon show fell with a dull thud. This of course was caused largely by the absence of Milo and the necessity of putting a small time act on to replace him and give us sufficient length and comedy, but the comedy did not materialize. With a little re-arrangement of the bill, it worked out somewhat better Monday night. However there are too many conflicting acts on the program. CHAS. LOVENBERG. IOLEEN SISTERS: A nice little wire act with some sharp shooting that makes a fair opener. 8 min. full stage. J.C. NUGENT & CO: Much to my surprise, Mr. Nugent is doing very well indeed with his sketch "The Meal Hound". 22 min. long opening in one, close full stage. ARNOLD & ALLMAN: This act is something of a disappointment, I am sorry to say they did not do very well. 20 min in one. MILO?: On account of throat affection, he did not appear in the afternoon, but played at night and gave us about as good an act as ever we had from him, making a big hit. 14 min. in one. SWIFT & KELLY: In their sketch "3000." This did not repeat very well. They got a few laughs and went off with scant applause. 20 min opening and closing in one with a short bit in 2 JESSIE HAYWARD & CO: In "Air Castle Kate". This act is not strong enough for its spot on the bill. About No. 3 of #4 it would be considered very good. They got some laughs, but it made no very strong impression. 16 min. full stage. BELLE BAKER: Miss Baker was a decided hit, sang a number of songs and the audience wanted more. 19 min. in one. HARRY HOWARD'S DOGS AND PONIES: A very good standard act, but I am afraid it has been seen too much to have any great value. 14 min. full stage. MOTION PICTURES: O. K. CUTS: MISS BAKER: Second chorus of the Wop Song telling about the Italian's lack of "Ambish."
