no 1 BOSTON SHOW WEEK JUNE 13, 1910. R.G. Larson (Monday night) THE HAMLINS. 14 minutes in l. Man and woman. Very [good?] appearance and excellent dancers, in fact, it is their dancing that gets them by in great shape, as the woman cannot sing and the comedy is mediocre. GALLAWAY, CARTOONIST OF "PUCK." 12 minutes f.s. Gallaway is now using a machine for showing pictures on a sheet. It works rather slowly, and I think I prefer his old act. TREMONT QUARTETTE. 14 minutes in l. There is nothing whatever the matter with these boys. Have played them several Sunday nights and they always went big and today [was?] well received all through, and their finish got them any number of recalls. BERT LESLIE. 17 minutes f.s. Leslie had the same experience as the Seldoms had last week at the Grand Central Station, and his stuff did not arrive this afternoon, bur he went on. Leslie was as much a feature as ever, but his company in PUNK. In fact, I cannot see how a man like Leslie would risk his reputation with the people he has with him on this trip. AUGUSTA GLOSE. 19 minutes in l. Miss Glose is doing much the same material as she did when last here, but went bigger than ever. MADAM CHUNG IN LOIE FULLER'S "THE DRAGONS OF WRATH." The second week of this production opened up well. This afternoon we had one of the few warm days and a good house, that was more enthusiastic over the production apparently than it was last week. A number of changes have been made and it is running much more smoothly, and creating as much talk as anything we have had during the entire season. Madam Chung herself is becoming quite a favorite, and got a good hack on her appearance. Although it is a very warm night there is a big house. HOEY AND LEE. 16 minutes in l. These boys picked up the big act in good shape and finished well. MELROSE AND KENNEDY. 11 minutes f.s. A first class knockabout act which closed the show with a laugh.
