Report of PROVIDENCE SHOW, Week of October 10, 1910. Chas. Lovenberg, Mgr. The show this week plays very well and gave evident satisfaction to the audience present. About every act made good what was required of it, although one or two of the acts would bear a little improvement. FEIBER & SMALL. Two men in a singing and piano act, who in a small way do very well indeed. I am under the impression that they will be heard from later. 13 min. in one. MYERS & ROSA. Lariat act. They did very well, although acts of that kind no longer have much novelty. The girl tries to inject a little comedy into the act with some superfluous yelling which I think detracts. I am having it cut out the rest of the week. 10 min. F. S. WOLFE, MOORS & YOUNG A man and two young girls. The usual singing and dancing act so familiar nowadays. These people have some ability, but the act needs trimming up, particularly as to dressing. 15 min. in one. ROYAL TRACEY & CO. in a sketch called "NERVE." The sketch is quite good and got many laughs. I don't particularly care for Mr. Tracey's work; however the act is a good one for the money. 20 min. F. S. LEW HAWKINS. Black face comedian. Mr. Hawkins is one of our old standbys and went very well today indeed. 16 min. in one. AMOROS SISTERS These girls have put together a very taking novelty introducing singing, dancing acrobatics, trapeze work and a little comedy. They open in one and finish full stage with a very effective special set. The act pleased immensely. 12 min. MAY ELINORE Grotesque singing and talking act that did fairly well. 13 min. in one. DR. HERMAN Electrical comedy act. This man is certainly a great showman and had the audience in screams of laughter throughout his act. 20 min. F. S. BIG CITY FOUR Easily one of the best of the male quartettes. Their voices blend well and they have a good selection of songs and with a little bi-play of comedy, they made good most thoroughly, In this difficult position on the bill. They held the stage 21 minutes without any trouble at all, in one. KREMKA BROS. Acrobatic comedians. These boys were handicaped by getting in late and by the non-arrival of their baggage at all. They came from Newark, which is really a harder place to jump into New England from than Buffalo or even Cleveland. They gave evidence of doing a good act but it was hard to get a line on them this afternoon. MOTION PICTURES O. K.
