BOSTON SHOW WEEK OCTOBER 24, '10. R. G. Larsen. (Monday night show.) THE COVENTRYS.. 12 minutes in 3. A very good musical act for an opener. HICKEY BROTHERS. 12 minutes f.s. close in one. Exceptionally lively dancing and acrobatic act. Woke the house in good shape. FLORENCE NOYES AND WALTER STILES. Classic pantomime. 10 minutes f.s. These are two local people, man and woman, who got by in very good shape and will draw us business. RUBY RAYMOND AND CO. 12 minutes in one. A good singing and dancing act in this spot and went first-rate. VALERIE BERGERE'S PLAYERS IN "WHAT HAPPENED IN ROOM 44." 12 minutes f.s. This is a very good comedy sketch. Short and fast. ALBERT HOLE. 12 minutes in one. Got a reception on his entrance and went big. "THE PHOTO SHOP." 36 minutes f.s. This is one of the best of the Lasky acts, but hardly strong enough for this show. Borders a little on the burlesque. BIXLEY AND FINK. 18 minutes in one. Doing the same act as before and going as big as ever in this spot. LA GUSTA. 10 minutes f.s. The show was short this afternoon and put La Gusta in with his wire act to close. He held the audience about as well as most any act would have done this time at night and remarkably well considering the fact that he was not programmed. It is one of those cases of taking a chance and getting by.
