BOSTON SHOW WEEK OCTOBER 31, '10 R. G. Larson. (Monday afternoon.) CYCLING BRUNETTES. 9 minutes f.s. A rattling good opening act. With plenty of comedy. WILLIAMS AND SEGAL. 11 minutes in one. This is a neat singing and dancing turn. With the dancing, of course, the feature. CROUCH AND WELSH. 15 minutes f.s. close in one. This willknown act, following another dancing turn, went well in this spot this afternoon. Is full of life and ginger. CHARLOTTE HUNT. 22 minutes f.s. Miss Hunt is a local favorite and played in stock in Boston for a number of years. Has a comedy which has been played before with indifferent success. She made the most of it to-day, and will draw us some money. CONNOLLY AND WENRICH. 16 minutes in one. This singing and piano act went big this afternoon. JESSE LASKY'S "ON THE HOUSETOP." 26 minutes f.s. This act has improved one hundred per cent since I saw it at the Colonial. This afternoon it went about as well as any Lasky act we have ever played, if not better. It certainly has the element of novelty, a beautiful stage setting, and for once we are getting it while it is fresh. Erickson's comedy has improved and he now really gets laughs all through. Starts off well and keeps it up to the finish. Altogether this act was thoroughly satisfying to-day. ROONEY AND BENT. 15 minutes in one. Playing "At The Stand." We have played this act before, but it went as well as ever to-day. In fact, Rooney got more laughs than the last time he was here. AVON COMEDY FOUR. 17 minutes f.s. close in one. It is a long time since we have played this act, but they were a perfect riot this afternoon. ONETTI SISTERS. 8 minutes f.s. These are four very attractive girls in a well dressed act, who do some great stunts on the trapeze and some tooth work that is really extraordinary. It is altogether a pretty act, and decidedly clever for the money. PICTURES. "The Championship Ball Games." They held a certain part of the audience with some applause, but no great enthusiasm.
