BOSTON SHOW WEEK NOVEMBER 7, '10.    R. G. Larsen.
(Monday night.)
ROYAL COLIBRIS. 10 minutes f.s. Three midgets that do some very clever acrobatic work with comedy. Made a very good opener.
CLARK AND BERGMAN. 15 minutes in one. This pair have a very good act, carrying their own drop, the outside of a baseball grounds. The talk is fair, but the singing and dancing went well to-day, and their finish was very big at both shows.
PERCY WARAM & CO. 18 minutes f.s. "The Boatswain's Mate." An English comedy that is full of laughs from start to finish, and has a good element of novelty all through.
VILMOS WESTONY. Hungarian pianist. 23 minutes in one. While Westony did not create the sensation he apparently did in some towns he was certainly a hit here at both performances. Was really a big feature of the bill.
GORDON AND MARX. 12 minutes in one. Although we cut out quite a lot of the stuff of these German comedians, they went as big here to-night as they did this afternoon. Is one of the best acts of the kind we have played.
CHARLOTTE HUNT. 13 minutes f.s. Miss Hunt in her second week is playing a sketch called "A Woman's Folly," in which she is the only character. For the first performances she has done remarkably well. The scene is a hotel room, rather elaborately furnished, with bed in an alcove. She is alone and is in a fit of jealousy. A good deal of the business is done with the telephone. There is a beautiful display of millinery and gowns in a dressing scene, and altogether this gives promise of being a very novel feature in the sketch line. The very fact that one woman can hold an audience with a connected story is in itself worth while. Before the week is out with a little better finish, the sketch ought to be worth considering.
HOWARD AND NORTH. Playing "Back in Wellington." 24 minutes in one. As big a scream as ever, if not bigger.
NEIL O'BRIEN. 22 minutes with long opening in one. "Fighting The Flames." O'Brien had a hard spot at the finish of one of the strongest comedy bills we have ever played, but he got away with it in good shape.
CUTS; CLARK AND BERGMAN - joke about "Salome ball" and word "soused. PERCY WARAM - cut word "sometimes" in reply to question "Isn't a widow a lady?" GORDON AND MARX. cut "affinity" and "that's being sociable." also word "bum" and omit business with beer pitchers. NEIL O'BRIEN. - cut line at phone - "We are not going there."
