John F. Adams, Critic.
Vittorio and Georgetto - "The Upside Down Boys" some unusual acrobatic work while standing on their hands, the finish a boxing match with the feet, a decided novelty. Went very good. 10 min. full stage close in one and a half, 3 min. carry own drop.
Gus Edward's "Kountry Kids"- in the rural musical comedy "Miss Roses Birthday" went very good. 22 min. full stage close in one.
John J. McCowan and Co - in the novel sketch "Election Night" a sketch somewhat out of the ordinary, characters very good. Went big. 22 min. full stage.
Melnotte Twins and Clay Smith - singing and dancing. A good singing and dancing act, girls make four changes of costume which helps act a whole lot. Was received very well. 18 min. in one.
Great Gernardi - Protean act, in three parts, first part played in italian, second, impersonations of well known composers, third a comedietta. Bernardi's work is the best of any act we have ever had of its nature and made a decidedly big hit from start to finish. 26 min. full stage.
Donald and Carson - the Scotch comedian and his bonnie lassie presenting "Alex Mc Lean's Dream" a real Scotch act of singing dancing and talking and is great. The hit of the bill. 30 min. in one and a half, carry own drop.
Seven American Belfords - world's great acrobats. The best act of its kind we have ever played, their work is wonderful and made an ideal closing act. 9 min. full stage.
