Report of PROVIDENCE SHOW, Week of December 12, 1910. Chas. Lovenberg, Manager. The bill is a fairly good one, probably as good as we have any reason to expect for what it costs in view of the salaries being paid. The last half of the bill played particularly well. Two or three acts in the first part of the bill did not come up to expectations. ARTUSA Fairly good little balancing act; all right to open the show, but I would like to meet the man who told me it was as good as Fred Zobedie. THE CARBREY BROS. Well-known dancing act. They do not seem to me to be doing as well as on their previous engagement. Went well with the audience. 10 Min. in One. THE VAN DER KOORS Burlesque magic act, rather unusual in its make-up, but hardly stronger than to open the show. 12 Min. Open F. S., close in One. HARRY B. LESTER This is a standard monologue act which compares favorably with most of the others in its line, but somehow or other it did not land very hard this afternoon. Am expecting better things tonight. 21 Min. in One. CLARA BELLE JEROME & CO. Same act presented last season, but she likewise fell down at the matinee. 23 Min. F. S. NONETTE Violinist and singer, about the best that we have ever had and who made the applause hit of the show. 12 Min. in One. MARION MURRAY & CO. Comedy sketch, "The Prima Donna." A big laughing hit. 22 Min. F. S. HAWTHORNE & BURT In their new act "The New Recruit" which held this position with perfect satisfaction; the audience laughing heartily about all the time they were on. 20 Min. in One. THE 5 OLYMPIERS Living bronze statues; the first time here. The act was evidently very well liked. 10 Min. F.S. MOTION PICTURES O. K. MUSIC HALL Pawtucket R. I. Dec. 12th 1910 Monday--Tuesday--Wed Dec. 12--13--14 EDDIE MACK & DOT WILLIAMS Singing and dancing act, 14 minutes full stage well dressed, went well ROGER FLORENY Plays piano, mandolin and violin. 12 minutes in one, makes three changes, went well CHASSINO Shadowgraphs, 12 minutes in full stage, very clever, went well but not as well as he should go David R Buffinton
