Report of PROVIDENCE SHOW, Week of January 2, 1911. Chas. Lovenberg, Manager. The show played exceedingly well and gave undoubted satisfaction. A large audience present. It is a sort of a show I think will attract business. TOM JACK TRIO This is a good act to open the show but by no means worth the salary they are getting. I had it in mind to cancel them before they opened; (two weeks ago) but discovered they were booked under a European contract so was obliged to take them. 11 Min. F. S. Can close in One. CLIFFORD WALKER This man did very well indeed, so well that I was surprised, in view of the adverse comments that I have heard of him. While he did not get any tremendous applause he shows unquestioned ability and the act certainly contains "class." 18 Min. in One. COVINGTON & WILBUR These people do a good act and went very well, but I believe that the days for "change acts" have past. 21 Min. F. S. JOLLY, WILD & CO. Scored a decided hit. 20 Min. in One. BERT LEVY Mr. Levy went better than on any of his previous engagements. 14 Min. F. S. MACK & WALKER Scored their usual success. 14 Min. in One. GRAYCE SCOTT & CO. A condensation of "Divorcons" which she calls "A Divorce Dinner." Miss Scott was our leading lady in last summer's Stock Company and no doubt for that reason she went stronger than she might have otherwise. However, I think it is a clever sketch that would go anywhere, particularly after it has been played by her company a few more times. There are lots of laughs and the sketch is splendidly dressed and ought to appeal to any audience of thinking people. 22 Min. F. S. MULLEN & CORELLI Went very well indeed. 12 Min. F. S. BRAHAM'S EDUCATED FLEAS Shown in the Foyer before the performance and on the stage, after the regular show, permitting such of the audience as desires to come up on the stage and see them closer to. It seemed to me that the whole audience went up this afternoon. They certainly have made a lot of talk and while it is treated as a joke very largely, I am sure they are going to draw some business. These fleas are shown after the Motion Pictures. MOTION PICTURES O. K.
