-:CHASE'S:- -:WASHINGTON:- -: Week Jan. 9th, 1911:0 THE MUSICAL LYRES Three men, one in blackface, who furnish good comedy and excellent music. Strong enough for a better position on the program. F. S. closing in one. BILLY [GASTON] & MINERVA COVERDALE. They do eccentric dancing, some little patter, and sing several songs. Did very well in this position today. F. S. can close in one. "DOG" WhITE A former Washingtonian. Pitcher for the Chicago-Americans and very popular in base ball circles here. Good stage appearance and [illegible] mannered. Has a good voice and san four songs. Will draw more money here than Christy Mathewson. In one. AGNES SCOTT & HENRY KEANE "Drifting". A little comedy gem in a beautiful setting. Thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. F. S. :-iNTERMISSION:- THE THREE [NEVAROS?] An excellent acrobatic act. F. S. GUS EDWARDS' 'SONG REVUE" This is where Mr. Edwards has come in to his own. Put him with a bunch of kids, clever, such as he selects and with him as loader he can certainly present a good and varied fund of entertainment. The merits and drawing power of this number will probably excel anything before offered this season. Opens in one, closes F. S. "DAYLIGHT MOTION PICTURES". "Riders of the Plains". Only a fair film. H. Winnifred De Witt, Manager.
