56 B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE - BOSTON - APRIL [28?], 1913. (R. G. Larsen.) TWO GEORGES. 6 minutes in two. Garden. A very good comedy acrobatic act that opened the show in great shape. P. O'MALLEY JENNINGS AND EDNA DORMAN. 11 minutes in one. Olio. Am English Johnny and a comedienne in a rather neat singing and talking act, with a little dancing. Went over in very good shape, and would do better further down on the bill. KINETOPHONE. "The Singing Society." 8 minutes in one. Special sheet in one. Got a hand at the finish. MANNING, MOORE and O'ROURKE. 13 minutes in three. Music room. (Usually work in one.) A very good three man and a piano act, singing rag songs, that woke things in in first rate shape. RAY CONLIN. 17 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. A big hit, getting laughs all the way through and closing strong. THREE LEIGHTONS. 19 minutes open in f.s. C.D.F. close in one. Street. Doing "A One Night Stand In Minstrelsy," and going bigger than ever. In fact, nothing short of a tremendous hit to-night. DU CALION. 17 minutes in one. Garden. This Englishman on the tottering ladder had a hard spot following the Three Leightons, but he kept things moving and closed strong. LULU MCCONNELL and GRANT SIMPSON. 25 minutes f.s. C.D.F. Tapestry. Same laughing hit as on their first visit here. JAMES THORNTON. 25 minutes in one. Olio. Got a great reception on his entrance and had the audience laughing every minute he was on the stage. Closed very big, in fact, was obliged to make a little speech. MAZEPPA, THE EDUCATED HORSE. 12 minutes f.s. Special set. A beautiful Arabian horse picking out colors, doing the good-night stunt, and a number of other good tricks, closing with a fire scene and the rescue of a woman and child from a urning building. A very good novelty that closed the show in excellent shape. CURS: Jennings & Dorman - second verse of "Rosie" song. James Thornton "Twin fly" gag.
