115 B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE - BOSTON - WEEK JULY 21, 1913. (R. G. Larsen.) MANG and SNYDER. 7 minutes f.s. Special plush cyclorama. Two clean-looking young men in a splendid strong-man act that made an excellent opener. WILLIW TWINS. 11 minutes in one. Garden. With their present act, I fear these young ladies will not get very far on the big time. Just got by, and that's about all. MOORE and ELLIOTT. 15 minutes f.s. C.D.F. A rather neat little comedy called "A Baby Grand," that got a number of laughs and closed well. LILLIAN WEBB and HER SIX PICKANNINNIES. 13 minutes in three. Short opening in one. Garden. One of the best "pick" acts we have ever played. Beautifully dressed, the work is fast, and they scored a big hit at both performances to-day. CANFIELD and ASHLEY. 17 minutes in one. Street. This is al Canfield of Canfield & Carleton; and Herbert Ashley of Matthews & Ashley, in a new singing and talking act. Canfield works straight, Ashley in Hebrew make-up. The best feature of the act is Ashley's parodies, the other material not being so well received. Got quite a few laughs, and closed well. VIOLINSKY. 15 minutes in one. Olio. Another big hit. Has some good activities with the violin and piano. Applause all through, and closed strong. "LE BALLET CLASSIQUE." 19 minutes f.s. Cut Garden. It seems to me this act is much more attractive with the two new premiers, Mlles. Marini & Bronski, than it was with Mlle. Albertina Rasch alone. Everyone of the nine dances was applauded, and closed well. BILLY ARLINGTON and CO. 21 minutes f.s. C.D.F. Short close in one, if necessary. The hit of the show. Kept the audience laughing every minute, and closed very, very big. THREE HEDDERS. 8 minutes f.s. Special drapery in three. A very good head-balancing act that made an excellent closer. PATHE WEEKLY. 15 minutes in one. Picture sheet. CUTS: Willis Twins - song "Snooky Ookums." Moore & Elliott - word "rotten." Lillian Webb - song "Naughty Melody." Canfield & Ashley - word "sucker."
