B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, OHIO SUMMER SHOW Week of August 10th, 1913. J. F. Royal. COMEDY PICTURE: Split reel. SARDELLO: 11 min. in 2. Magician and cartoonist. Rather clever, and a good opener for this kind of show. Proved very interesting. NELSON CLIFFE: 11 min. in one. Local violinist - first appearance. Classical program, and plays quite well. Just fair. LOCAL PICTURES: As interesting as ever. WALTER CONNOLLY, OLIVE BLAKENEY & CO.: 15 min. F. S. C.D.F. Two men and two women in comedy sketch written by John B. Theissen, local newspaper man. Deals with theme of suffragettes breaking up happy homes, etc. Idea is not new, and there is nothing alarming about the comedy. Got some good laughs, however, and its local atmosphere got it by. Connolly is a very clever young man. Sketch might go good on small time. WRIGHT & WILLIAMS: 16 min. in one. Man and woman in talking and singing. woman works straight, and man does German comedian. Rough comedy that got few laughs, and could not be considered good act. Their closing was only fair. J. K. MURRAY, CLARA LANE & CO.,: 18 min. F. S. C.D.F. Two men and a woman in singing sketch entitled "Fixing Dad". There is a little talk, but used only as an excuse for songs by Murray and Lane. In this German town their Irish songs were unknown, and their Irish comedy was likewise puzzling. Their voices saved the act. Fair closing. GEORGE REEVES: 10 min. in one. Eccentric blackface comedian, who supplied the only real comedy on the bill. His material, while not new, proved very entertaining. Closing very strong here. WILTON BROS.: 6 min. F. S. Horizontal bar comedians. Good closing act for this kind of show. COMEDY PICTURE: Split reel. CUTS: "Drunk" from Connolly & Blakeney. Gag about battles in Newport from Wright & Williams.
