B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNAT, OHIO. Week of Nov. 2nd, 1913. John F. Royal. MC RAE AND CLEGG 8 min. F.S. Land. Man and woman in the cleverest and fastest act of its kind in vaudeville. Not a moment's stalling and, while the man gets considerable laughs with his comedy, the woman is a real thriller with her bicycle riding. Closed exceptionally big for an opening act. GRACE DEMAR 12 min in One. Olio. A pretty, refined young lady with some beautiful costumes, but her repertoire of songs did not appeal to our audience. They seemed a bit too quiet, and she suffered with the audience still coming in. For this reason she did not get over. HENSHAW AND AVERY 17 min. F.S. C.D.F. 7 min. close in One. Olio. (24 min.) Man and woman in clever singing and talking act. Audience did not get their material at first, but gradually warmed up and their automobile burlesque and cafe scene got them a good closing. As a whole, the act was well liked. SIX AMERICAN DANCERS 16 min. in One. Special, Plush Drop. This act went very big, and our audience would like to see a lot more like them. MERCEDES 30 min. F.S. C.D.F. Man and woman in mental telepathy act. This is a very baffling exhibition and proved very interesting to our audience. He had them mystified and certainly interested them throughout. Our very wise dramatic critics are a little skeptical about acknowledging this man's ability, and it will only be by public demonstration, which we have planned, that they will be made to concede his ability. Every body is talking about him, and he may do business. DOOIN AND MCCOOL 17 min. in One. Street. Two men in singing and talking act. Mr. Dooin is manager of the Philadelphia National Base [Ball] Team, and got a big reception. All the enthusiasm in the act was given for his singing. The comedy in the act is very dull, but the singing gets it by. Dooin is the best singer of all the base ball acts seen so far. This is his home town, and he is drawing many friends. The act got a splendid closing. MURPHY AND NICHOLS 27 min. F.S. Spec. Three men and two women in "The New School of Acting". This was a scream all the way. MAGGIE CLINE 17 min. in One. Olio. Miss Cline did not get over. She was not feeling well, and her voice was weak. At both performances people got up and walked out on her. They have seen enough of her in this city, and it is a waste of money to book such an act here. THREE ALEX 7 min. F.S. Pal. A wonderful closing act. LOCAL PICTURES The freak pictures of Cincinnati on a busy day, in which the figures are seen rushing at a mile a minute, was a scream. CUTS "Damn" from Henshaw and Avery. "Damn" from Dooin and McCool.
