38 COOK OPERA HOUSE, Week of Oct. 27, 1902. ROCHESTER, N.Y. ACT TIME, mib. SET No. 1 - EDNA AUG 18 all in one Only fair at the price. No. 2 - MARTINETTI, FAMILY 10 full stage Fairly good acrobatic act, entirely overpaid. No. 3 - LORIS & ALTINA 12 full stage, can close in one Good shooting act, but $125. is absolutely the limit. No. 4 - LILLIAN BURKHART 21 full stage Presenting "The Salt Cellar," one of her early offerings. It goes better than any sketch we have had played recently. Miss Burkhart appears to fit this character x better than her roles in other sketches. Cast only fair. No. 5 - GUYER & DALY 14 full stage Guyer is possibly one of the best American pantomimists, but the principal part of the act consists of double acrobatic dancing. Consider it a fairly good offering, possibly overpaid. No. 6 - BLOCKSOM & BURNS 15 full stage; close in one Worth $100. and no more. Considering the act from the standpoint from which it is paid, it is bad. PARKER'S DOGS 12 full stage This act is getting to play smarter every day, and in its present shape is as good an animal act as the best. No. 8 - SILVERN & EMERIE 9 full stage; close in one A really artistic and clever flying ring act. No. 9 - EDITH HELENA 10 all in one Miss Helena makes a feature of her phenomenally high upper notes, which are truly marvelous. She has an excellent voice as well, and with the selections in use it makes an excellent offering, well worth the money. W. B. McCALLUM
