108 108 Report of show in Chicago Opera House -- same show previously played in the Olympic and Haymarket theaters, Chicago, and in the Columbia, St. Louis. THREE SHOW ACTS Andy and Jennie Adams--in 4--15 minutes--man and woman--German comedy sketch--very dull Martin and Ridgeway garden in 3--14 mins. -- commonplace farcical skit Jessie Barnes.......in 1--12 minutes--"The Sweet Singer of Southern Songs--" pleasing vocalist for three a day Lew Wells...........exterior in 4--16 minutes--musical comedy sketch--some of his instrumental pieces go well but his comedy business is as old as the hills Harry Stuada........garden in 2--finish in 1--8 minutes--rather clever Japanese gymnast and equilibrist--travels with Adele Purvis Onri Thompson and Wolfe..in 1--15 minutes--two singers and dancers--girls--Dress well but their songs are hackneyed and their comedy utterly inane and silly TWO SHOWS Deaves' Marionettes.interior in 4--14 minutes--carries his own backdrop and miniature stage for the marionettes This specialty continues to amuse both old and young and has the additional value of giving variety to the entertainment. Carson and Willard in 1--14 minutes--German comedians with an ordinary string of conversational witticisms Adele Purvis Onri-...grotto in 4--11 minutes--revolving globe specialty-old juggling tricks offered in attractive style finishing with an illuminated skirt dance Esther Fee..........in 1--14 minutes--an exceptionally accomplished violiniste--is liked by patrons in all portions of the theatre Jatheryn Osterman & Co--parlor in 3--22 minutes--presenting Lillian Burkhardt's old sketch by Grant Stewart entitled "Tomorrow At Twelve" which is well received Elizabeth Murray.....in 1--18 minutes--an exceedingly entertaining singing comedienne--gets recalls at each performance--has a better act than ever and of course gets bigger receptions Wartenburg Bros.....tropical in 3--14 minutes--expert foot jugglers--interesting act-- George Thatcher.....in 1--20 minutes--minstrel monologue about the same as usual--that is nothing extra but goes very well Riccobono's Horses..interior in 4--17 minutes--great animal act--immense hit--the famous "Good night" horse makes the hit of the act, of course, although the whole specialty is fine--splendid act to close program Kinodrome...........good series of pictures (G.
