Report of show given in Chicago Opera House, Chicago, for week commencing Dec. 13. Same show previously appeared in Olympic and Haymarket theaters, Chicago, and in the Columbia, St. Louis. THREE SHOWS. Bander and Lavelle . . exterior in 4--10 minutes--this bicycle act is good enough for two a day. Ethel Gilkey . . in 1--12 minutes--a good looking singer with a pleasing voice. Mr. and Mrs. [Kid?] Wilson . . exterior in 2 or 3--15 minutes--commonplace sketch. Joe Hardeman . . in 1--16 minutes--ordinary monologue comedian. Raymond Musical Trio . . in 1--15 minutes--a harpist, violinist, and mandolin player--all men--while none is highly accomplished their ensemble work is tuneful and their repertoire well selected. Collins and Hart . . exterior in 4--14 minutes--commence their acrobatic act with conventional comedy and tumbling but close with one of the best burlesques on "two strong men" ever seen in vaudeville--therefore they finish strong--if they had a good start their act would be great. Wayland Maitland . . parlor in 3--16 minutes--farcical skit called "Is Matrimony a Failure?" Rather dull. La Belle Blanche . . in 1--11 minutes--a clever impersonator of stage celebrities--girl about 15 years of age. O.K.Sato . . exterior in 3--14 minutes--this fellow's juggling is extremely unique and amusing. Fields and Ward . . in 1--17 minutes--two clever conversational comedians--most of their stuff is orginal and it is also well delivered. The Yankee Comedy Four . . interior in 4--Finish in 1--fourteen minutes--open with a silly lot of comedy but make good at the finish with their ballads. Rackett Brothers . . exterior in 4--16 minutes--carry special scenery for their act--their instrumental music and singing is excellent and it also has the advantage of being presented in a novel manner. Felix and Barry . . garden in 4--12 minutes--in their old set, "The Vaudeville Craze," which goes as well as ever. Hill and Silvany . . exterior in 4--13 minutes--man and woman in a thrilling exhibition on a high, old fashioned bicycle--best act of its kind going Kinedrome Pictures interesting as usual. Hatcher,Press Agt.)
