Clifford & [?] - [?] Man and woman in a singing and dancing specialty. I can't see the act at all; had to cut out some of it, and the balance is hardly worth while keeping. Paloma Laddias' Quartette-[?] shows, 10 mins. in 1-Looks like Lyceum act; good for three-a-day. Orville & Frank-2 shows, 10 mins.-Garden in 3-Novelty acrobats, man and boy, in an aerial japanese balancing act. Very good act. Belmont & O'Brian- 3 shows- [?] mins.- [Fancy?] in 2-Two men in a singing and talking act; one working straight; the other eccentric; just fair and that's all. Couture & DeVoe 3 shows-12mins.-Garden in 3-Acrobatic comedians; two men; good acrobatic act. John Healy-3 shows-15 mins. in 1-Blackface comedian; always good and always gets the laughs. The Fadatis Women's Orchestra-2 shows-25 mins.-[?] in [?]-The back bone of our bill. Rastus & Banks-12 mins. in 1-Colored man and woman in singing and dancing act; probably the liveliest colored act in the business. Matthews & Harris-2 shows-25 mins.-own set- In Will M. Creasy's sketch "Adam the Second." The sketch is full of laughs and goes well. Louisa [?]-2 shows-12 mins. in 1 and [?]-Very beautiful woman. She has a very excellent wind-up in her burlesque [?] illustrated songs, which makes a hit; but the songs that she sings in the early part of her act, such as "In the Sweet Bye and Bye" are cheap and she could substitute better ones to advantage. Lillian Burkhart & CO/-2 shows-25 mins. [?] in 3-In Mr. F. J. Denaghey's sketch "A Deal on Change." The sketch made good, although it made no phenomenal hit. The act is lively, but is not intensely interesting. Miss Burkhart, however, is always clever. Jack Marworth-2 shows-15 mins. in 1-Blackface monologue. Marworth is always good; but his work is slow and deep; it is not of the lively sort, but has quality. Freyda Bros.-2 shows-10 mins.-Garden in 2-Received a good hand on their appearance this afternoon, having been remembered from last week. It is the best hand balancing act in the business. Yorke & Adams-2 shows-18 mins. in 1-Hebrew comedians; always good to wake the people up and they go very well. Winscharman's Bears-18 mins. Landsape in 4-An act for the children during the holiday; probaby the best bear act in the business. On a whole the show is good, but it lacks hurrah. M. A. Davies
