153 Supplementary Report, Philadelphia Show. Jan. 12. MULY AMBARK'S ARABS --- Nine of them. They work like lightening and can be heavily billed. Their floor work is especially commendable. DURYEA & KEARNEY --- The opinion here is that the sketch is valueless after 3:30 or 9:30. They would not walkout on it at 8 o'clock, but they do walk out in droves when the act is placed in a position to hold them. The woman is unattractive, and the dialogue for the first 15 minutes is crazy and uninteresting. At this point the woman changes her costume and the "champagne drunk" part of the act begins. It is only at this point that the audience becomes interested, and this interest continues for only a very few minutes. The act fell flat at 4:03 and 9:46, and consequently it has been shoved up. RICE & WALTERS --- After cutting out the suggestive play with the seat of the trousers, the act goes well. The falls of the clown are so cleverly executed that the turn gets more laughs than any other act on the bill. Brown & Nevarro --- Two coons. Very, very strong here, especially the Chinese imitations. BANKS & WINONA WINTER -- Just about get a hand, and that's all. STUART BARNES -- Very, very good. Holds them well. WYMAN & GARNER --- An awful frost, as is also SKATINELLI.
