/83 HOWARD ATHENAEUM, BOSTON- Feb. 6-03. HANSON & HARRIS-two men in comedy acrobatic act-A very good act, ends with the old time trick set cottage. Went fairly. LEWIS & DELEONE-man and woman in an Irish comedy talking and singing act-of the rough sort-very good talkers-went finely. 21 min. ALBURTUS & MITJIAR-the man a very clver juggler of clubs-the woman well known as a cornetist-she juggles clubs now in addition to her cornet work-a very fine set-sent big-19 min. CORA MITCHELL-a woman with a weak measly voice and no good looks to brag of, only refined, sings and is assisted by a colored boy-Their voices harmonize prettily and this carries the act-went big-13 min. J. V. RINGHAM-one of the best of ventriloquists-went big-15 min. ENGSTROM SISTERS-fashion plates-poor voices-very little dancing but very chic-pretty act-went finely-10 min. SANARET-an elegant dancer-very handsome-costumes perfectly grand-a man assists in Spanish Dance-went big-8 min. WILL ROGERAY-black face monologue and singing act-Is really good and funny-went finely. Has a bad cold. GONLIE GIRLS-16 of them- and a clown-this act is really an Amazon March-it is spoiled by trying to accomplish too much-cut out the dark stage and the clown, show the girls in bright light and the act would be very fine-The women are all fine looking and fine shapes, but the act is a disappointment-went big, but it was due to the neat stars and stripes thrown on the group-Costumes are very pretty, white and neat. GEO. YEOMAN-German monologue and singing set-went big. A very bright act-10 min. PARROS BROS-finest of all balancers-went immense-11 min. CHARLES MCCARTY-in a bright monologue-went big-12 min. BURLESQUE: As fine a looking lot of somen as one could wish to see. The singing is elegant-every turn in the burlesque went big.
