HYDE & BEHMAN'S Week Commencing February 16th, 1903 THE ROSSEAUS Somersault Kings. Do a very good acrobatic act and were worthy of a better place on the bill. Full stage. 9 min. GOLLYER & MAXWELL In sketch "A Fight for Love". Are away back of the times; this sort of old time nigger act wont do at all; it lacked action and was very draggy; both tried to be comedians and the act fell flat. 19. LYDIA KEAMANS TITUS "The Wrong Man" There is absolutely nothing to this sketch; they consume 12 minutes in senseless talk, after which her imitations run smoothly. The first part should be cut out entirely. Mr. Titus cannot talk, but he can play. Full stage; time 25 minutes. GEORGE C. DAVIS Imitations. Pleased the audience; but has nothing to offer. His imitations of J.W. Kelly went well however. Works in one. Time 21 minutes. WARD & CURRAN The Terrible Judge. This team always make good here; have introduced some new local hits, which scored well. Full stage, closing in one. 29 min. SMITH & MILLER Instrumentalists. A strictly high class musical act; man anda woman. The woman's playing on the harp being exceptionally fine; but she should cut her singing and do more harp playing, as therein lies the success of the act. Full stage, finishing in one. 23 min MITON & DOLLIE NOBLES "The Grass Widow". Have an extra woman in the sketch; no change since last played here; seemed to go well. Full stage; time 35 minutes. BILLY S. CLIFFORD Songs and monologue. Made his usual hit here; had some new material; works in one. Time 13 minutes. PANTZER TRIO Contortionists. They should cut out the piano playing of Mrs.Pantzer, which is absurd. Their act is exceptionally finished in every respect, the two girls being very graceful and pleasing in appearance, and the man wonderfully clever with good comedy. Full stage; 13 minutes. A. H.
