198 TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. Week Beginning Feb. 23rd. JOE, MYRA & BUSTER KEATON: A man, woman and a boy who who do a musical and comedy acrobatic turn. This act has improved wonderfully since last seen in this city. It is now an AI "laugh-producer." 20 minutes full stage and 3 minutes in I. THE THREE POIRIERS: Two men and a woman; ring and bar performers. A very good turn. I0 minutes full stage. NICHOLS SISTERS: Black face singing and dancing comediennes. This pair is blocks ahead of all competitors. 12 minutes in I. HAL STEPHENS; In artistic impersontions of stage celebrities, including Richard Hansfield, Lew Backstader, Weber & Field, Jimmie Russell, Joe Hart in "Foxy Grandpa," and Joseph Jefferson in "Rip Van Winkle." This artist cannot be praised too highly on account of the finished performance that he gives and the expense that he goes to in the way of scenic effecrs for his act. He is one of the few who elevates vaudeville. 26 minutes full stage. EDDIE GIRARD & JESSIE GARDNER: Presenting the sketch entitled "The Soubrette and the Cop." Although presented here before it is going big with the audiences. 23 minutes full stage. ELIZABETH MURRAY: Singing comedienne and story teller. Like many other performers she does not change her material often enough. Is going only fairly well. I2 minutes in I. THE FADETTES ORCHESTRA: Composed entirely of women. This is its second week. It is making the hit that it seemed last week--a tremendously big one--and it deserves it. 30 minutes full stage. GEORGE C. DAVIS: Monologist. He is an AI artist but he does not keep up to the times. He needs new material. Just misses getting the flag. 20 minutes in I. THE COLE-DE LOSSE DUO: Comedy wire artists. An excellent act. A Big hit with the audience. I5 minutes full stage.
