284 TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. Week Beginning June 1st. Rice & Prevest: Two men who do a comedy acrobatic act. A turn that will compare favorably with the nest in its class. 7 minutes in full stage. The Three Cardownie Sisters: Novelty dancers who do national stunts in character costume. They are both pretty and clever. 9 minutes full. The whole act can be done in 1. Grant & Grant: (Colored) Man and woman who do a singing and dancing turn. They are making very good in this theater. 16 minutes in II. They can do their full act in I. George B. Snyder & Harry Buckley: Musical comedians. The former makes-up as a German and the latter straight. Their comedy is splendid and their music fair. They are laugh-producers of the stellar brand. 19 minutes full stage and 6 minutes in 1. Mary Norman: Caricaturist of society women. While she was never a "topnotcher" in the beauty line, she has retrograded physically since her last appearance in this house, in consequence of which she is not going with vim that she did on her former visit. However she is going fairly well. 15 minutes in 3. john Ford: Who bills himself "the champion dancer of the world." He is all that he claims he is. 9 minutes in 1. Frederic Bond & Co.: Presenting the sketch "My Awful Dad." From a literary and original standpoint this is one of the very best playlets that has ever beee put upon the stage of this house. Two men and two women in the cast. 25 minutes full stage. Orville 7 Frank: Equilibrists and acrobats. A remarkably good act. 8 minutes in 1 and 4 minutes in 3.
