299 TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. Week beginning June 28th. The Marvelous La Page: A performer who does some highly sensational feats in the jumping line. He is assisted by a comely and modestly-appearing young woman. This is an excellent act. 11 minutes full stage. H. Keeler Cook & Arthur Don: I talking and singing. They are very poor and have a nerve to apply for an engagement in any first class theater. 12 minutes in 1. John & Bertha Gleason: In a refined dancing turn. One of the very best terpsichorean acts in vaudeville. 10 minutes in 3 and 3 minutes in one. Mrs. Wynne Winslow: A soprano singer who has a fairly good voice, dresses well, is shapely and rather pretty. With these points in her favor it is difficult to reason why she does not go bigger than she does in this house, unless it is that she lacks personal magnetism and has a repertoire of song numbers that is not up to the standard. 9 minutes in 1. Sidney Grant: Monologist and singer. Just a fair turn. 20 minutes in one. Mary Hampton & Co.L Presenting the skit entitled "The Melodrama." One of the best things in the one-act vehicle line that is being offered to the public. Miss Hampton is being supported by two men, one of whom is an A1 violinist. The acting ob both the star and her support is all that the most critical could desire. A big hit. 27 minutes full stage., Elfie Fay: Singing comedienne and impersonator. She has improved decidedly since her last appearance in this house. At both performances yesterday she scored a triumph. 11 minutes in 1. Wolf & Milton: Two men who do a novelty acrobatic turn. They employ a billiard table and execute some wonderfully clever and sensational aerial convolutions thereon. A good act, particularly for a closer. 11 full stage. The American Biograph.
