292 CRITICISM OF SHOW. KEITH'S THEATRE,PHILA., PA. JULY 6TH Martine & [Dalno?]-10 mins.-Gar. in 3-Two men,acrobats,made up as Chinamen, very acceptable for an opener. Gladstone Sisters-Two girls,song and dance, can't sing, fair lookers,do a pretty dancing trick while playing violin,fair to good. 10 mins-Gar. 2 Bean & [Hamilton?]-12 mins.-Landscape in 4-Two boys,barrel jumpers;as good an act as [Deonia?] Bros present; good "sight" act, and could go further down [Hose?] & Scott-15 mins. in one-Two men, Hebrews,imitate Jordan & Welch. Stories,fair;parodies,fair;dialect,bad;make-up,repulsive. Just about get by up to their cake-walk finish--which got an encore. Hayes & Wynne-13 mins.-C.D.F. in 2-close in one-Man and woman, singing and dancing act; neatly dressed; good dancers--especially the man. Good "small" act. Gallagher & Barrett-20 mins.-C.D.F. in 3-close in one-Two men,comedy sketch that is good. Crazy cross talk in spots--but it is good. Whole act is good. Watermelon Trust-25 mins.- Pal. in 4-Coons,three women and two men, talking, singing and dancing. A good act, but needs close watching for objectionable talk and dancing. Comedian is very good. Sallie [Stombler?]-12 mins. in one-Working alone, singing in one, attractive woman, dressed neatly. Selections were good. Was well received. Silvern & [Emerie?]-12 mins. in one-Man and woman, ring act, very good. Polk & [Kelling?]-12 mins. in one-Two boys, banjoists, seemed to please with their selections. Dolan & Lenharr-25 mins.-C.D.F. in 3-Man and woman, in sketch, very good in spots-entitled "Taking Chances"--some spots very slow. Both are good actors. Sketch is good and ends well. Acting uneven. Joe Flynn-15 mins. in one-Parodies and monologue; not especially brilliant; may go up on the bill; has a few good jokes didn't go very strong, but ended well. Stinson & Morton-20 mins.-C.D.F. in 3 - close in one-Man and woman, same crazy act that defies description; always very strong here. Montrose Troupe-10 mins.-Pal. in 4-Four men acrobats and two boys, very good. Vitagraph-20 mins. in one-Good selection, with Lipton's fleet to close with. H. A. DANIELS.
