New York Show, Week of July 13th--2.

GHR.--THE DILLON BROS.--They had quite a lot of new parodies this afternoon and went quite strong as they always do in this house. 15 minutes in one.

GHH.--STINSTON & MERTON--These people did not go on this afternoon on account of a delay in the arrival of their baggage, but the act is too well known to require special comment.

GHR.--IRVING JONES.--Colored man with about as good a repertoire of songs as has ever been offered in this house. I think he got more laughs and that the appreciation was more genius and legitimate than was displayed toward Ernest Hogan. He certainly went very strong and I think he will do so over the entire circuit. 17 minutes in one.

YNH.--MONTROSE TROUPE.--Four men and two boys in a particularly strong acrobatic act. I happened to catch these people without work and got them for a very reasonable figure. It comes pretty nearly to being one of the best acrobatic acts that we have ever played. 12 minutes, full stage.

AR.--VITAGRAPH.--Featuring this week a lot of panoramic views in and around Rome which, of course, under the circumstances, was very timely. Aside from this feature, I don't think their selection for the week was very strong. 23 minutes in one.
