Rae and Brosche, 2 shows, 19 min. in 1--go to 3, and close in 1--Man and woman in a comedy talking act. They went even bigger than on the occasion of their last appearance here, and finish of the act being particularly strong. Barrows-Lancaster and Company, 2 shows, 23 min. full stage-Presenting for the second time here "A Jolly Jollier" one of the best comedy sketches now being done in vaudeville. It is capitally acted all around and deserves all the success that has come to it. John Lenard, 2 shows, 14 min. in 1--This man had a most difficult place to negotiate and was not equal to it. The preceding show had been so fast that it was beyond him to keep up the face. Notwithstanding, he did exceedingly well, and in an early place in the bill will be all right. Wilton Brothers, 2 shows, 10 min. full stage--Bounding table and horizontal bar act, one of the performers working straight and the other in grotesque make-up. A very good act of the king, in fact, too good to be wasted down so far on the program and I will move it up for the balance of the week. Bioscope, 3 shows, 17 min. in 1--They gave us a most unsatisfactory exhibition, caused by a poor sense that should have been tried out and rectified before the machine was sent here. The pictures were all right, of the same style as those furnished by the vita graph. Russell and Buckley, 3 shows, 15 min. open full stage, close in 1--Comedy and musical act, the funny man blacking up. It is a very good act, judged from a 3-a-day standpoint, and made a hit with the number remaining in the house along about 5 o'clock. Derenda and Breen, 3 shows, 10 min. full stage--Comedy club juggling act, and a very good one at that. Stereopticon, 5 min. in 1--Interesting lot of views. Only used twice as I had plenty of show without it. Comment:- The afternoon audience was quite large and unusually enthusiastic. The show is one of the best we have put up for some time, especially in the line of good clean comedy.
