New York Show, week of August 10, 1903:--2.

YRR.--ISABELLE URQUHART & CO.--Consisting of Miss Urquhart and one ma in a piece called "Even Steven," which she has done on the circuit before. Miss Urquhart is good, as she always is. The man, while a good actor, was badly hampered this afternoon by an extremely husky voice. I interviewed Miss Urquhart in regard to it and she informs me that it is the result of a cold from the effects of which she thinks he will recover in one or two more performances. He is a really clever actor, but less there is an improvement in his voice I shall not let the act go over the circuit. 23 minutes, full stage.

GSR.--GOLDEN GATE QUINTETTE.--A team of colored comedians and singers, consisting of four men and one woman. They have been over the circuit before, and it is a very good colored act. They have an extremely difficult place on the bill this week, but I am so situated that I can hardly avoid letting them stay there. They will, however, make good. 16 minutes in one.

GRR.--ORVILLE & FRANK.--A man and a boy in a novel acrobatic act which has been over the circuit before, and which always makes good. 10 minutes, full stage.

[HR?]--BIOGRAPH.--The selection of views this week was given to us by the aid of the bioscopy, and is a much more acceptable production than that of last week. 16 minutes in one.
