S.F. Keith's Hippodrome. March 27th 1911 -- Cleveland, Ohio -- H.A. Daniels. THE LIVINGSTONS. 3 men. Time 5. F.S. Woods. Comedy bar. An average set. KON & PRICE. 3 men. Time 11. Comedy cartoonists who drew similtaneously on two easels. Their pictures are clovermbut their execution is a little to slow. Their stage presence, too, is a little ematourish. LANOTON-LUCIER & CO. Open C.D.F.Close in 1. Time 17. 2 men 1 woman. This is one of those mad, howling acts in which energy is offered in place of talent. They sing and dance and change their costumes and get little applause. FRED WATSON. In 1. Time 10. A young man with an agreeable stage presence and a good singing voice. Unfortunately most of his songs are old here and his brief monolog is very flat. he braced up at the close and received a perfunctory hand. "CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE." 12 men. Time 19. A jury room is shown in which the jurors while away their time by playing poker, singing and joking while waiting for the obstinate last man to come over to the other eleven's way of thinking so that a verdict can be returned. By a novel and altogether surprising turn of events the one man suddenly brings the eleven men around to his viewpoint. The entire conception is unusual. Well received. CARRIE DEMAR. 5 special drops in 2 1/2. Time 22. Miss Demer is suffering from a bad cold, in fact she explains that she has just recovered from pneumonia. In spite of her voice being in wretched condition, she scored fairly well in her opening numbers. her finale, "Three Days On The Ocean" is full of keen comedy and splendidly portrayed. It proved a big hit. SAM MANN & CO, 4 men & 3 women. " The New Leader." The laughing hit of the show. The idea is the old one of a bare stage vaudeville orchestra. leader. However there is little old in the treatment. It bristles with novelty and wholesome laughs, and Mann not only is a clever comedian but his support is excellent. THE THREE ATHLETAS. F.S.Palace. Time 2. A trio of Amazonesque but finely formed young women who do weightlifting and heavyweight acrobatics. Although there is nothing new to what they do, the general impression is somewhat novel and the feature held the audience well at the opening matinee. Daylight Motion Veiws (Photoplane.)
