B. F. KEITH's HIPPODROME. [page] 23 April 3rd 1911-- Cleveland, Ohio-- H. A. Daniels. JUGGLING BURKES. Time 10. w men. In 2 woods. Comedy and straight club juggling. Good for the place. SIX O"CONNOR SISTERS. Time 10. In 1. A sextette of attractive young women who sing a number of songs. Not a sensation; but highly pleasing. BERT LEVY. Time 12. In 3 with sterepoticon [sic] curtain back ground. Mr. Levy's well known picture projecting novelty is thoroughly entertaining. It was received with its customary applause. CHICK SALE Special back drop in 2 1/2. Time 14. A protean who gives a number of rustic impressions under the title of "A Country School Entertainment." Plenty of energy and hustle and a fair amount of talent. MR & MRS GARDNER CRANE & CO. In 3 special Pullman interior. A sketch called, "Little Sunbeam." Time [6 min.?]. An elaborate equipment. The plot is very draggy. Barring a few moments of real fun, this sketch failed to bring forth any noticeable amount of hilarity from the audience this afternoon. MACLYN ARBUCKLE & CO. 2 men, 1 little girl. Time 26. "The Welcher." The comedy part of the butler in this act is excellent. Arbuckle was received with a good advance hand; but his opportunities in this sketch will never set the world on fire. Good acting saved what otherwise would have proven a rather commonplace story. The act "got by" in good shape; but the sketch itself has been touted too much. MARY NORMAN. In 1. Time 17. "Some Women I Have Met." The laughing hit of the show. This clever artist impersonated a variety of women and keeps the audience in a riot of laughter. BERTISH. F.S. special plush back drop. Time 10. This is a strong man with an elaborate equipment. Although his act is essentially nothing more that [sic] weightlifting, Bertisch is clever enough to introduce several novel demonstrations which hold the interest of the audience thoroughly.
