Maryland Theatre Report, Baltimore, Md. Week of April 10, 1911. Arnaud Brothers - 11 Minutes, open F.S. close 4 Minutes in one - Two boys doing a clown musical act, and playing violins while doing acrobatic work - all right on this spot - Deane and Price - 15 Minutes F.S. Comedy sketch that went well with both matinee and evening audiences. Julia Frary - 10 Minutes in one - Miss Frary who has just closed with "The Slim Princess" is a favorite here, and scored a success with several new songs - her voice is as good as ever, and she closed strong. Leonette Roberty and Her Whirlwind Dancers - 9 Minutes F.S. Roberty's toe dancing is excellent, and her assistants dance with speed, and do some good pirouette work. Dan Quinlan and Vic Richards - 22 Minutes in one, special drop Quinlan as "The Travelling Dentist" and Richards as the blackface comedian score heavily. Irene Franklin - 33 Minutes F.S. Miss Franklin, with Burt Green at the piano, proved that she is still one of the greatest Singing Character Comediennes of the day. Her songs went like wildfire, and her characterizations were perfect. Notably, "The Waitress From Childs" The chorus girl singing, "I Knew Her When;" and the child singing, "I'm Bringing Up The Family." Miss Franklin took curtain call after curtain call, and has undoubtedly proven a big drawing card - Bert Fitzgibbons - 18 Minutes in one - Fitzgibbons with his "crazy" songs was a riot in this spot, and went as big as any single man this season - His material is new, and he is a decided acquisition. Lane and O'Donnell - 7 Minutes F. S. Good eccentric comedy acrobatic act, doing tumbling, and one making comedy fall from a ladder set on two tables - Got by all right in this spot. Pictures O. K.
