BOSTON SHOW - WEEK - MAY - 8 - 1911. R. G. Larsen. (Monday night.) VISSOCHI BROTHERS. Accordion players. 9 minutes in one. this is a fair act. Only fair. Did not seem to arouse much enthusiasm. BERTISCHE. 9 minutes f.s. This is one of the best of the strong man acts, we have played in a long time. He has a good appearance, a number of novel feats, and was applauded all through. GEORGE PERRY & LEE WHITE. 16 minutes in one. The woman in this team is really clever, and it is too bad that she has not good support from the man. As it is, however, it is a good act, and well worth the money paid. CAESAR RIVOLI. 24 minutes f.s. close in one. At any house where Bernardi has not played, this man should be a big attraction. But in his change work he hardly comes up to Bernardi. when he gets into the orchestra, however, and his impersonations of famous composers, I think his work is a little better. At any rate, he aroused the audience to all kinds of enthusiasm to-night. ANDREW MACK. 22 minutes in one. Mack made one of the biggest hits he has ever made in this house here to-night. His stories went over better than his songs. Notwithstanding this, however, he was not by any means the hit I have seen him in New York. CLAUD & FANNIE USHER. In "Fagin's Decision." 29 minutes f.s. Although this sketch has been played here before, it went as big as ever, and got laughs all through. JACK WILSON TRIO. 25 minutes in one. Wilson hasn't much of a show to work with, outside of a few acts, but to-night he had them going for fair. They hardly let him off. RAWSON & JUNE. 10 minutes f.s. Boomerang throwers, archers, etc. A good novelty and made a fair closing act. CUTS. Rivoli - "My wife is no good." "I love my wife but." Jack wilson - "Go to --." Brigham Young verse. Reference to take off more clothes. B. F. KEITH'S HIPPODROME. May 8th 1911 Cleveland, Ohio. H.A. Daniels. JULIAN & DYER. 2 men, 1 comedy. Time 8. F.S. Garden. Good flying ring work and funny grotesque tumbling. KATE WATSON. Time 10. In 1. Fantastically dressed comedienne with a rattling good monologue. WARREN-GIBSON CO. 2 men, 2 women in a digest of "Macbeth." Time 34. Local. WILL. H. FOX. In 1. Time 24. Clever trick piano player with abundant sly comedy. Big hit. LAURA BURT & HENRY STANFORD. 2 women, 1 man. Time 19 F.S. Interior. "The Order of The Bath". An episode developing out of a situation of a man and woman being locked in a bathroom. The situation might be delicate were it not for the fact that unusually bright dialogue saves any suspicion of "suggestiveness." Unique and very clever. COOK & LORENZ. 2 men. Time 20. In 1. They do a number of things including piano playing, dancing and comedy singing. A very capable pair who proved one of the real hits of the show. "KRIS KRINGLE'S DREAM." Time 23. Special F.S. interior. Introducing the "Top O' The World" dancers and the Collie Ballet. The plot is the animation of the toys on Christmas eve. This gives opportunity for excellent dances and generally high class entertainment. To my mind the best "musical comedy tabloid" in vaudeville. MARIA ROCKO & BRO. IN 3. Time 18. This is a remarkably strong woman who neatly and without "stalling" demonstrated great skill, strength and poise in a splendid series of balancing feats.
