BOSTON SHOW WEEK JUNE 19, 1911. R. G. Larsen. (Monday Night.) LESTER, LAURIE & QUINN. 11 minutes f.s. close in one. This is a very fair opening act and good value for the money. The boys do some very good hard shoe dancing and the girl some acrobatic dancing. All of which is fair in this spot. SNYDER & BUCKELEY. 18 minutes f.s. close in one. Doing the same old act and getting away with it in very fair shape. DELMORE & ONEIDA. Perch act. 9 minutes in one. This held the spot in good shape to-night. Got a good hand at the finish. THE GREAT RICHARDS. 10 minutes f.s. This impersonator has a well dressed act and gets some very beautiful light effects with his fuller dances. THURBER & MADISON. 16 minutes in 1-1/2. Started rathe slow but they worked up big with Madison's eccentric dancing. "THE MEISTERSINGERS." 40 minutes f.s. this is composed of the Harvard, Schubert, and Weber quartettes, certainly three of the biggest and best concert quartettes in the business, and their voices harmonize wonderfully. In fact, I do not think I have ever heard any thing like them in vaudeville, at least. We have built for them a beautiful stage setting showing the veranda of a hotel scene with a sea background, and during the piece we are showing some light effects. They sing 12 numbers, 2 solos, and one quartette number, the remainder being choruses. In an elf song we introduced a Brownie called "Onita," who also did a dance which proved quite a novelty. This is certainly the most popular summer attraction we have ever put on, not excepting even the Fadettes. Notwithstanding the warm weather to-day, we had very good houses at both shows and the applause was tremendous. The finish being particularly strong. While this is a strictly local feature we have booked it for six weeks and it will be interesting to see how it turns out. HAINES & VIDOCQ. 16 minutes in one. They had a rather difficult time holding down this spot at both performances to-day, but got away with it in fair shape. 5 PIROSCOFFIS. 11 minutes f.s. Doing the same routine of juggling and making a very good closing act. Music Hall, Pawtucket 3 days, June 15-16-17 Duke Darling - Impersonator, singer, talker - 14 min one went very well Rivoli - Going big Hayes & Winn - Singing and Dancing - Dancing very good - 10 min in one. Went good
