BOSTON SHOW WEEK JUNE 26, 1911. (R. G. Larsen.) (Monday night show.) POLLARD, JUGGLER. 11 minutes f.s. this man has a mighty good act for an opener, and kept the house laughing most of the time he was on. He depends more on his comedy than on his tricks. LILLIAN ASHLEY. 13 minutes in one. Only a fair single act, but got by in this place which is a hard spot for story telling. "THE LANGDONS." 19 minutes f.s. This proved to be a decided novelty and their stage setting was good enough to get a hand at both performances when the curtain went up. With the two automobiles, patter, and business, they kept their audience laughing most of the time. JOHNNY JOHNSTON. 12 minutes in one. Somebody told Johnston that he ought to work straight, and he did so this afternoon, getting away with his songs in fair shape. To-night he returned to his character makeup and his finish was nothing short of a great big hit. MR. & MRS. HUGH EMMETT. Ventriloquists. 26 minutes in two, close in one. This couple have a very good line of stuff and ventriloquism, and some violin playing, most of which was done in one to-night to give time to set. The man is certainly versatile and the woman who works at the piano makes a splendid stage appearance. Altogether the act is one that will give satisfaction pretty far down on a bill. "THE MEISTERSINGERS." 35 minutes f.s. Second week. This combination has proved to be a local sensation, and is certainly doing business for us. They gave almost an entire change of programme this week with different soloists, and quartette numbers, only the numbers of last week's programme being retained. The act is making thoroughly good. COOK & LORENZ. 20 minutes in one and two. These fellows, following "The Meistersingers" were a positive riot. THE FOUR REGALS. 11 minutes f.s. This is a most picturesque strong man act and very much better dressed than many acts of the kind we have played, has elements of novelty, and made a great closer for this show. COMMENT, This show worked out into a thoroughly satisfactory summer entertainment and this evening went big from start to finish. CUTS. The Langdons - "Hell." Hugh Emmett" - reference to Hotel Lexford and "Shystersingers." Music Hall, Pawtucket June 26-27-28 Julia Edwards & Co., 2 men and a woman, in Comedy "Kitty" - Woman dressed well - went very light - 15 min. Payne & Lee - Man and woman - Comedy singing and Dancing including the "Billikin Girl" - went good - 10 min Kajayama - 4 men and a woman - Japanese Handwriting Marvel - went good - 15 min
